“I Lived This Life This Way” – 65th Anniversary of Professor Mahira Huseynova at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University

On November 4, a literary and artistic event titled “I Lived This Life This Way” was held at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of renowned linguist, poet, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Doctor of Philology, Professor Mahira Huseynova (Nagigizi). The event was attended by members of parliament, government officials, university leaders, representatives of the educational community, media, scholars, as well as faculty and students.

The rector of the university, Professor Jafar Jafarov, noted in his opening speech that Mahira Huseynova is one of the intellectuals who has devoted her life entirely to the university. She began her career there as a teacher and held positions such as department head, dean, and vice-rector, contributing greatly to the institution’s academic and administrative development.

Other speakers highly appreciated her scientific, pedagogical, and social activities. The artistic part of the event included a documentary screening and performances of literary and musical works.

At the end of the event, the юбиляр expressed her gratitude to the organizers and guests.
