At the meeting, important issues regarding the results of the 2025/2026 academic year were discussed, and an extensive exchange of views took place concerning the faculty's academic, scientific, and organizational activities.

Associate Professor Konul Hasanova, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, opened the meeting and presented a summary report on the scientific, pedagogical, and organizational activities carried out during the 2025/2026 academic year. The report provided detailed information on enhancing the quality of instruction, expanding scientific activities, fostering international cooperation, and promoting student engagement in scientific and social activities, as well as outlining significant events held and results achieved throughout the year.

Subsequently, the progress, current status, and outcomes of the spring examination session were discussed. An analysis was conducted regarding the organization of the session, the transparency of the examination process, student performance indicators, and measures taken to improve the efficiency of the teaching process.

A brief annual report was also presented regarding the status of the implementation of decisions adopted during the meetings of the Faculty of Philology’s Scientific Council throughout the academic year. The level of implementation of decisions adopted during the reporting period was assessed, and priority areas for the upcoming period were identified.

Extensive discussions were held regarding the agenda items, and appropriate decisions were adopted, taking into account the proposals and opinions voiced. The meeting was notable for significant discussions concerning the determination of the faculty's future activities and preparations for the new academic year.

It should also be noted that faculty members celebrating anniversaries were honored by the Trade Union Committee of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. Associate Professor Konul Hasanova congratulated the honorees and wished them success in their future endeavors.
